ART OF SECONDS is a cultural sustainability project rooted in the living heritage and craftsmanship of Anatolia, Türkiye. It draws inspiration from both tangible and intangible heritage.Across Türkiye, we seek out timeless objects for the rituals of everyday life—shaped by nature, centuries-old traditions, and the hands of master artisans who carry Türkiye’s living cultural heritage forward.Each piece reflects a savoir-faire passed from one generation to the next, preserving the knowledge, craftsmanship, and spirit that give these traditions their enduring relevance.
THE CULTURE OF WATER AND BATHING
Since antiquity, bathhouses have been an integral part of urban life across Anatolia. From the Roman baths to the Ottoman hammams, bathing spaces were never simply places of cleansing. They were places of gathering, conversation, poetry, art, literature, sport and social life.The hammam became a cultural institution—where water, craftsmanship and ritual came together.

ART OF SECONDS brings this living heritage into the present through an exclusive collection of specially crafted keses, created in collaboration with one of Turkiye’s most historic makers of traditional bathing gloves, with almost 70 years of experience.
Through The Kese Menu, an age - old practice becomes a personal expression of choice - where texture, touch, and craftsmanship come together to create an experience that is uniquely your own.
